No current plans to hold another beginner or Improver group at present.
To ensure we give everyone the best experience and chance to improve, we are having to stick to some strict criteria this year for our Beginner and Improver Running Groups. Please read carefully the descriptions below. (Apologies, we are unable to take Junior runners under the age of 16)
**Beginner Group If you have never run or if you struggle for more than a minute or two and look at a mile as if it were a marathon then come join the beginners.
**Improver Group If you are comfortable already jogging or running between 1 and 3 miles or can at least run continuously for 10 mins, you will be best suited to our improver group.
** If you are fit enough to be faster than 6 minutes per km and can easily run for much longer than 10 minutes, we are unlikely to be able to cater for your specific training needs, though we will try to accommodate you where possible, but would suggest maybe a local running club would be more suitable to help you to progress.
